Renovated American antiquarian cast-iron ovens are the soul and the basis of Ugolёk. They were made in the mid XIX - beginning of the XX century. In their time every oven was the heart of any house, hotel or saloon. They were irreplaceable in cooking, in maintenance of warmth. There were even called by names and designed exclusively.
All the dishes in the restaurant are made only in the ovens or grilled, except of cold starters of course. Everything is cooked on natural wood, opened fire or on the coals, that is why food has a special flavour. The food is brutal by its style, a bit retro but made with modern knowledge of products' qualities.
The kitchen is headed by famous in Moscow and greatly proved Chef - an Italian Giacomo Lombardi.
